The local group is Coventry & District Sands (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death charity) and is run by volunteers. The group's trained befrienders offer peer emotional support to bereaved families. If you are looking for support please contact the group at support.

The Acorn Centre offers a specialist counselling service for anyone affected by miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, TFMR, stillbirth or neonatal death, postnatal depression and offers post abortion support. During the pandemic the Centre is offering remote online counselling sessions, with plans to re-open the Centre for face-to-face counselling again once restrictions have eased.

George Eliot Hospital and its partners support Baby Loss Awareness Week each year.
Baby Loss Awareness Week runs from 9th to 15th October every year and is an opportunity for those affected by pregnancy and baby loss and their families and friends to unite with others across the world to commemorate their babies’ lives and lost pregnancies. The charities leading Baby Loss Awareness Week are committed to raising awareness of pregnancy and baby loss in the UK and providing support to anyone affected. By working with health professionals and other organisations, the week aims to drive for improvements in bereavement care and support, and to reduce the incidence of pregnancy and baby loss.
