Visiting your family and friends
Patients are allowed a maximum of two bedside visitors at any one time between 1pm and 8pm.
Visitors do not need to book an appointment to visit.

Visitors are not required to wear facemasks when visiting their family or friends in a clinical area. Unless it is the visitor’s personal preference. Please ensure that you are decontaminating your hands on arrival and leaving the hospital. Use the sinks provided in the entrance areas to the hospital and wash your hands with soap and water and then use the hand gel provided.
Please DO NOT visit if you are unwell with coughs/colds, flu like symptoms or with symptoms of diarrhoea and vomiting.
We’re proud to support John’s Campaign, which is a national campaign supporting the rights of carers to stay with their loved ones in hospital, it is for patients with dementia or similar conditions that may make them vulnerable or at risk of decline without their carer being present. This can be to support with personal care, nutritional intake and for comfort. Find out more, here.
The hospital’s restaurant and League of Friends Cafe are open for visitors to use.
Please be aware electric scooters are not allowed to be used inside the hospital as it is a health and safety risk.
Emergency Department
Patients are only allowed to have one person accompanying them in our Emergency Department, if you have any additional needs please speak to a member of the team.
Please inform our staff if you or any of your household have shown symptoms of Covid-19 or if you have you had contact with a confirmed or suspected case of Covid-19.
