The George Eliot Hospital Patient Information Resources are available to be viewed as webpages or downloaded as a document in a standard file type.
Accessibility
The patient information resources have been designed as web pages to improve accessibility. Our website has accessibility tools that can be accessed at the bottom of the window. These tools provide you with the ability to change text size and apply alternative colour contrast.
The webpages also allow information to be provided in a range of different formats, including text, images, video and audio, and the downloadable document represents an adapted version of the webpage content in an open file format or PDF.
The patient information resource pages also abide by the general website accessibility statement which can be located here.
Viewing content in another language
You can view text information on our patient information resources webpages in a number of different languages using the website accessibility tools available at the bottom of the window. Just select a language from the drop down menu. This translation tool is powered by Google Translate.
Physical copies
If you require a resource to be printed please ask your healthcare team who can provide one for you.
Additional Support
The George Eliot Hospital Trust abides by the Accessible Information Standard and works with additional partners to ensure patients at the Trust, or their carers, have accessible and/or translated versions of health information as needed. Please make it known to your healthcare team if you need support beyond what is offered by default through the website.
