Clinical Interest:
He has a special interest in knee and sports surgery, lower limb arthroplasty and complex fractures. He does soft-tissue knee surgery, ligament reconstructions, knee replacements (primary and revision surgery) and hip replacements.
Profile:
After his basic surgical training, he took a clinical research post at the Royal London Hospital and Holly House Hospitals in London. During this time, he presented his research work at national and international orthopaedic meetings.
He was appointed as Specialist Registrar and completed his Trauma and Orthopaedic training in the West Midlands. During his training, he worked at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, University Hospitals Birmingham (formerly Selly Oak) and University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire.
He did his advanced fellowships at The King's College Hospital, London and The Exeter Knee Fellowship at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospitals.
He is actively involved in teaching and training of medical students, junior doctors and orthopaedic trainees. He is also faculty for FRCS (Orth) revision courses.
