Trampolining sensation Rosa Clark, who works as a Physiotherapist at George Eliot Hospital, has been selected to represent the Team GB senior squad for the 2024 season, this includes the European trampolining trails in February.
This success follows her representing Great Britain at in the 17-21 World Age Group at the world Trampoline Championship in Birmingham last November, where she finished in an incredible seventh place among a world class field.
Rosa has been chosen to represent Team GB in the DMT (double mini trampoline), and will have one eye on the World Cup in Coimbra in the summer, when she takes to the mat next month.
On her road to GB selection, she said: "I am excited to be selected as senior in my first year of the age category, it is a big achievement and I look forward to the opportunities it brings me.
“I will have the opportunity to trial for European Championships in April, this is in Portugal. I am excited to be challenged and be competing with the best of the best in my sport.
Rosa trains at the Heart of England Trampoline & DMT Club and has worked as a physiotherapist at George Eliot since 2023.
On her road to success in the last year she has claimed top spot in the Senior Category in the Finland Cup, alongside first place in the British Age Championships 17-2, fourth place in the British championships and an incredible second place in the England Championships senior category.
She added: “I am currently on my first rotation in Felix Holt Ward. They have been amazing and very supportive with my dual career! I also did a student placement at GEH in MSK outpatients in February 2023.
“I was greatly supported with my working hours and support as a student to be able to continue training whilst on placement. I qualified as a physiotherapist in July 2023, this is my first job in the NHS and I have been amazed at the support.”
A huge congratulations and good luck from everyone at George Eliot to Rosa.
