A popular café in the maternity building at George Eliot hospital has reopened after an extensive refurbishment and is ready to serve patients and visitors.
The facility which was original closed in March 2020 at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Since then, the café has undergone a complete refurbishment to update facilities and provide patients, visitors and staff with a comfortable environment in the hospital to get a refreshment and relax.
The café is managed by volunteers from the George Eliot League of Friends who provide essential support for the hospital and its patients.
The League of Friends' friendly volunteers will be serving drinks, sandwiches and snacks each weekday from 10am - 2pm.
