Patient Portal pilot launching soon at George Eliot Hospital

In March, a pilot of our new innovative MyCare in Warwickshire Patient Portal will launch for the ENT, Oral, and Pain medical specialties at George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust. This will enable patients who have an upcoming appointment with these specialties to digitally view their appointment letter and details in the portal.

The portal is an online system that can be accessed anywhere, 24/7 using a secure username and password; and is currently available to patients aged 18 and over.

The aim of the MyCare in Warwickshire patient portal is to improve the patient experience by offering a ‘digital first’ option that enables speedier communication between the patient and the Trust.

Currently, patients can view appointment letters in the portal, and choose to go paperless for future letters. Further functionality will be added gradually over the coming months and years, including the option to change or cancel appointments.

Joining the portal will be optional, and opting out won't impact the care patients receive.
