Based at Riversley Park Community Centre, Ruth is known for her compassionate care and unwavering support for expectant mothers. Her nomination highlighted her empathy, understanding, and ability to make a real difference in the mental wellbeing of her patient.
The awards ceremony, held at the historic St Mary’s Guildhall in Coventry, honoured health professionals across Coventry and Warwickshire who go above and beyond in supporting perinatal mental health. By Your Side, the charity behind the award, is dedicated to raising awareness of perinatal mental illness and championing those who make a difference in the lives of parents.
A surprised Ruth shared her thoughts on the recognition: “I was really shocked when I found out I’d been nominated for this award. I was just doing what I do every day. It was an absolute honour to be recognised among so many deserving health professionals – and I was truly blown away to win.”
